Hello,

My website has images of different sizes uploaded by users. The image will display as actual size on the page so if its smaller than the area available it will not stretch it or anything.

However, if the image is larger it makes the table column wider to accomodate the image. I do not want this however, if the image is bigger than the table which I have set a width for then to make the image smaller.

Is there anyway to do this?

Well then you'll need some other solution besides moldy old tables because that's the inherent nature of tables - they stretch to fit what you put into them.

I'm allergic to tables.... but I do like it when LadynRed dances on them!

just add the with and height to the image ie width="10" height="100"

That will constrain the proportions with or without tables.
