I know this isn't really an HTML issue, but I didn't really know where else to look. I have a client that wants to download a mht file from one site using right click>save target as to her local desktop, and then re-upload it to another site. Yes, she has permission, yes it would be tough to get the original file. The mht file shows up fine on the original host site as an mht, but when we try to re-upload it we get an error message saying that it can't be opened by IE.

Any thoughts? TIA!

Obviously, saving the page/site as an MHT file is a bad idea. You aren't going to get all the graphics if there are backgrounds set with CSS and you won't get the complete file structure.

The easy way to do this is a program like this: http://pagenest.com/ - that or some other offline browser that does the same thing.
