I just started messing with dreamweaver for like week.
Well, this is what I have so far:

The black part is a div. I want the bottom of the black part to always touch the bottom of the page. Like if someone had a big screen, I want the black part to be always connected to the bottom of the page. How do I do that?

I tried:

But when I put "html, body { height: 100%; margin: 0; }" inside the html, its just plain text, and not coding, so it doesnt do anything.

I also tried clicking on body in the css panel, adding the property of height 100% and margin bottom 100%. And then clicking on #layout (the black part) and added the property min-height 100%.

Nothing changes :|

That's because "html, body { height: 100%; margin: 0; }" should be in a stylesheet

Shouldn't

height:100%;

be in the CSS properties of the black div Boo2Hed's about, instead in the body?
