I don't find your answer very clear. Maybe christ has ans your question but I think you are referring to how to put comments, well I'm not sure. Anyway, if you are new to html , you can learn it on "http://www.w3schools.com" or "www.tizag.com". I used it when i started learning too..

Your question is not very clear at all but I'll try to answer anyway.

if you want to know how to put comments into HTML code the answer is simple:-

I think you may be right.
People come into the HTML channel, ask questions like this, and expect the answer to be as simple as:

HTML Code:

<form action="comments" method="comments">
<comments name="comments">
</comments>
<input type="submit" name="submit" />
</form>

when you need PROGRAMMING to do this. Of course, there are plenty of ready-made solutions for this type of thing. I look HERE for answers to common questions.

I agree that the question is obviously malformed and that Carol must be looking for a "guest book" type option.

And of course, this is not an HTML thang, as it does indeed require both some sort of form processing, data strorage, and then data retrieval -- something like this: http://www.scottrossmemorial.com/guest_book.asp (something simple I threw together using an Access database a few years back).

You'll definitely want to find a solution that includes Captcha to prevent spam bots from filling your comments page full of spam crap too
