I uploaded a wordpress template for my one site. But the site is not ranking in search engines. I want to know that wordpress template is responsible for it or any other reason.

How long has your site been up on the WWW? It can take several days, weeks or even months to get your site recognized. Wordpress would definitely not have anything to do with it.

Wrong! The template has everything to do with search engine ranking. Did you check the header? Do you have all necessary metas in place? Usualy new templates come with basic metas.

Nope, the TEMPLATE itself has NOTHING to do with SE rankings. The TEMPLATE is just html and css with some images. The only METAs that make any REAL difference is the Description meta and the TITLE tag is VERY important, as is having proper SEMANTIC markup - including proper use of HEADINGS (H1..H6). Keywords meta is a waste of time.

I suggest you do a LOT of reading in our search engines section.

Google themselves clearly states that it takes at LEAST 6 months of 'aging' for a site to 'bubble up' in the rankings - just read their Webmaster Tools section.
