Going to school is great - I did the same. But, I feel I learned alot more by getting low end jobs and learning everything I possible could about technology. Not just webmaster related; I mean EVERYTHING! By obtaining that on-the-job training I think that will get you farther then any college course. Please, don't think I'm putting down the fact you went to college for web master. I went to college and obtained Associates in Applied Science Degree Computer Analyst Graphic Design and Associates in Applied Science Degree Computer Analyst Internet Administration. I just know first hand I learned more working at jobs. One more thing make sure your communication skills are extremely well. Being able to communicate to the client who knows nothing about websites, hosting, server end issues and much more will ultimately be in your best interest. I hope I was helpful.
