No!!! Do not use this method as center is deprecated and therefore may not be supported in the future.

Position absolute for centering just isn't necessary.

All the rest of your layout fits inside the div with the id "global"

Be careful with the auto margins, I think they don't work in all browsers. I just do...

Wherever I would have previously used a center tag.

^ The align attribute is deprecated, and has been for several years. The sticky for how to do this was put in the CSS Forum for a reason.
