No!!! Do not use this method as center is deprecated and therefore may not be supported in the future.

Do as serandfae suggests.

I think this captures the best basic way they told me: http://tutorials.alsacreations.com/centrer/
All the rest of your layout fits inside the div with the id "global"

Be careful with the auto margins, I think they don't work in all browsers. I just do...

^ The align attribute is deprecated, and has been for several years. The sticky for how to do this was put in the CSS Forum for a reason.
