Template files magically disappeared from folder on my local computer, but I have about 100 pages website based on this template. The pages are working perfectly fine, but there is a way to restore a template from the html based webpages ??

I'm using Dreamweaver 8 to build a site. When I detach a page from being a template and afterward save it by my disappeared template's name and apply it to all pages layout is getting messed up....

No, you can not just rename a page that is part of your template and make it your original template. What you're going to have to do is re-create the template from scratch.
