Meta Refresh Question

I want to redirect to a new page. However the page where my code goes is within an i-frame when I set the below code the page does a refresh/redirect but inside the i-frame. how do I set the target value? Is this possible using the below code?

I'd say you should move this tag from the site in the iframe to the site which contains the iframe, but maybe if for some reason you can't do that, I think you need to use a JavaScript redirection instead.
Or even put a frame killer on the page you're redirecting too.

Both are bad ideas. The best thing you can do is to set up a real redirect by sending a Location header, with a 301 status code, which simultaneously redirects it (almost instantaneously, unlike meta refresh or JavaScript), as well as send a message to web crawlers that the page has a new, permanent location.

Here is one way to do this.

I don't think that's what he's looking for because he has a timer in his redirect.
Unless, of course, there's a way to do that with something server-sided. :P
