Hello to all, Iam a noob when it comes to web programing. Iam trying to update multiple pages at one time on my site. My site is already set up I just want to change a pic on it and instead of changing the pic on all of the pages I wanted to know if there was a way to just change one page and all will be updated? If so which page will it be the index.html/php ? Also I wanted to know if the same process goes when using php

That depends entirely on how the site is coded. If the image is a background, and attached to an identifier inside the CSS document, it will be easy to update from the stylesheet. If the section that contains the image is in a shared file (from a server-side include) you may be able to go to that file and edit the image. Otherwise, you will need to do a site-wide search and replace.
