Hi
Since the beginning i have my web site composed by 4 tables: top, left, right, main and footer
Every time that I refresh, or navigates, all tables updates as well.
Now I would like to make the left, top, right and footer tables static, changing only the main according the search results.
How can I do it?
Thanks

I think you might try to make a site with css and div's because table layout is getting a bit of a thing of the past.

But to have it static.
You can use a content div in combination with ajax, or a easy but older way to do it. An iframe.

Hope it helps

good luck

Your memory must really be bad, Only 1 minute later you were asking what can "ajex" be used for.

I doubt you needed to mock him.... as a moderator it might be an idea to display a little kindness once in a while.. I've noticed quite a few sharp jibes from you.

Just my 2 cents..

Andy

Not "mocking" anyone, just get more than a little hacked off with people answering threads as if they are expert in something, then asking newbie questions on the same topic in another thread.

Whilst at the SAME TIME (as you may not have noticed) having a WHACKING GREAT BIG LINK DROPPING SIGNATURE proclaiming how expert they are in "web services".

THESE are the kind people who do the most damage to the various skills and professions that make up the web design & development and SEM/SEO world. Clients unfortunately discover these "experts", pay them for work they are not capable of producing and then the true professionals get tarred with the same brush of being scammers and shysters.
