Helping a friend with his website and there is some spacing issues in IE. Shows fine in Fox and Chrome but IE shows spacing above menu.

See example:

To me, it doesn't look good in Firefox either.
Plus you used tables to make a layout, which is basically an HTML crime. :P

And the source isn't readable at all.

You should really think about redoing it with DIVs instead of tables.

Ok ... figured out the issues in IE ... now it is loading fine in IE and Chrome but not in Firefox. The issue in IE was the main table height which I corrected and whala.

Issue in Firefox is sudden and unexplainable.

Adding a proper DOCTYPE would go a long way for ALL browsers in how your site is rendered.

If you aren't getting anywhere, you can try the "CSS Reset":

http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/reset/

I haven't used this in its entirety, but maybe it's something that'll help you out, or help you to figure out where the problem lies.

I find this question strange because that site offers "Exquisite Website Design" - sometimes I despair!

ouch, you really need to just restart that site from scratch, your graphics and artwork are fine, but table layouts are a no-go area, particularly if you're pushing yourself as a designer!?

Viewing source tips me off that you are just cutting and pasting code and have very little in the way of web skills other than graphic design! you should stick to what you know and get a programmer to do the coding!

Mighty Master is the coder, hes is using tables, but this is my site, and I personally don't profess to be a strong coder, programmer. I am the graphic guy, THAT I do EXTREMELY well, and those who know graphic design know that BRANDING is a huge part of a corporate design. If I don't offer website as a service, then I lose out on the market. But I do let my clients know that I work with other people to do web design. Mighty Master and I together have done several different sites that look excellent and are quite appealing and functional. Please don't hate on the site itself, thats not cool, we came to get help and don't appreciate the rude comments.

If you can offer some suggestions about our question, other than blatant rudeness, that would be appreciated. Thank you to those who have.
