I am building a website and have a lot of different images on it. I am trying to put a 3D type of box around the image - so that I can put in a description for the different images. Attached are 2 images - 1 with a screenshot of my images and the other of a screenshot from another website of what I am trying to achieve. The only difference is that I am trying to put a box around the image as well and would like to keep the description below the image in some instances and beside the image in other instances (see screenshot 1). Any help would be much appreciated.

Can be accomplished in a couple of different ways.

1. Create a table using two cells, image in one cell, and text in the other

or

2. Cascading Style Sheets, the more preferred way (most widely used), but tables have been around much longer

Geez.. NO TABLES !!
What you want can be done with CSS and the border property.

I would use the css method if you can, you can make the table but here will be a lot more work required for the same output. I always like to make things as easy as I can.

Thanks for the replies. I don't think that I was clear in explaining what I am trying to achieve. Basically where we can see the first 2 images - I want to put a bit of text under the first image - that says that it is a Card - and then I want to give it a bit of space before putting below the image beside it that it is an envelope. Same with the two images on the bottom. I have messed around with 'div' but cannot seem to be able to 'spread' the text on one line.

The image that I have provided is an example of what I am trying to achieve. At the moment, there is no text below or on the side of the image. What I would like to achieve, is have the two images side by side then on the line below have some text saying "Image Envelope" with the space in the middle. I'm not too sure if I am missing something simple, but the main issue I seem to be having is with the text on the line below and mainly putting the space between the two words.
