ok heres the problem, im trying to create a site and everytime i try to align a picture beside another picture or text, the whole page changes and gets distorted! how can i make a picture or text appear anywhere on the page without disturbing the other content?

also how do you make horizontal spacing on just one side of text or a picture? i no the <hspace> command gives you horizontal space on both sides, but how do i get horizontal spacing for just one side?

How are you putting in the pictures ?? We really need to see code.

I reconmend using css on your website. Its a hell of a lot easier to position stuff. You can do it very precise to like 1px using css.

divs are good too. however it is they come together. i just click on the wee picture in dreamweaver and let it do the rest.
