hello.im michael.how can i make a cursor on my page?i mean,i want the cursor on my webpage will be a little lemon.i got the ready cursor,but how do i insert it to my page?

I expect when you googled your problem you just got led to pages telling you how to use one of the handful of default cursor alternatives like hour glasses, hands etc.

Well I googled a bit harder, realised you need css for this and finally googled

custom cursor css

and found this page of adsense adverts with a handy bit of info thrown in on the side - the handy bit of info should see you through

all you now need (if you haven't already) is to know how to save a file as a .cur

dont worry,i got a cursor and an icon editor.bouth can help me.i use realworld cursor editor (may help you) and sib icon editor.i think bouth are free.but the site tells its for IE 6 and up.i got IE 7 i think,but my main browser is firefox. i alredy got trouble with my site with knda "print html"(someone told me the HTML is MS publisher is designet to print so only IE will support it.stupid huh?)well,all of the IE only things making me think firefox is a stupid program made by a guy leve in the street.

i think its not a very good recommendation.thanks,it may help,but its only for IE 6 and up,and about 40% using firefox (including me) and the number is growing.not only peapole using firefox netscape opera and some custom browsers they made (you can make your own with browserbob),some peapole also using lower versions of IE.its bad for me.

Firefox is vastly superior to any of the current IE verisons. Its rendering of images is much better, its JavaScript is more advanced, it has obedience to web standards, which even the Microsoft team has finally come around to admitting they must support. Not that I am totally downing Microsoft, because they have created some very innovative ideas also. It is hard for some professionals to give credit to the Microsoft team these days because their browser lags so far behind the rest of the market, but they do deserve credit.

My advice: study up a bit. Saying Firefox sucks because it doesn't support proprietary Microsoft print HTML shows that you don't know much about the history of web technology and the reason there are standards in the first place.

It's exactly what you do here.

Microsoft deliberately r.a.p.e.d every established standards to push their programs on the front scene for the last decade, and made the whole suit of their programs mostly compatible, but with just enough specificities to annoy peoples and drive them to use Microsoft programs.

This even lead to a trial by Sun, because Microsoft java machine was "not compatible" with the official implementation.
It didn't stopped there though. When PDF started to spread, Microsoft tried all it could to impose word and excel formats as an universal answer, Which makes me laugh, have you ever tried to edit a 3'000 pages document on word. Don't, it will only drive you mad. It took me 2 years to get over it.

To summarize: firefox, opera, safari and chrome are doing it right. They follow established standards, and have a coherent comportment towards them
IE5 and 6 are so fscked up, that they locked their users in. Some asian governments even blocked IE7 update at a time, because almost every banking web interfaces where implemented as activeX interfaces, which where incompatible with IE7.

IE8 seems to get in a better direction, as I've heard (but I have not followed the news), but this already caused "riots" because it breaks too many sites designed for IE in mind, and I've heard that there where lobbying group trying to dissuade Microsoft to set the "w3c standard mode" on by default, and to only let the users enable it if they specifically want it.
