OK, I hope I'm not doing a double posting here but I couldn't find a response to this, it would be cool if somebody with similar problems could tell me how he/she fixed these tricky issue...

the facts:
On my website I have this frameset and three frames:
left frame (for navigation), top frame and on the right side the main frame for the content.
left frame & top frame display an image that starts from one and should fit flawless together.

problem #1:
there is a gap (space) between the left frame and the top frame which kind of chops the image apart.

problem #2: I have embedded a flash movie into the left frame and it doesn't show everything (about an inch is cut on from the right side). When I change the size of of the frames it doesn't change the problem.

My website is not online yet. I attach a screenshot - taken from Firefox v3 (Mac).

Thank u in advance...
C@ndy

PS: I have uploaded a larger image here (because it was still too big for the forum - although i optimized the size...)

Why.. .why are you using those moldy old frames to begin with ?? Step into 21st century web design and leave the 1995 frameset behind.

Unfortunately, we cannot debug code from an image, just can't be done.

Instead of frames use a CSS-driven layout (2 columns and a header).

So... what do you suggest for some "newbie" like me? JNeuhoff suggests a CSS-driven layout (thank you for your suggestion btw - I like constructive critic!). As I am a songwriter I would like/need something similar to the frameset (something easy to create and also easy to maintain because I cannot effort to pay somebody right now). Would be iFrames an alternative (despite I have absolute no knowledge about that)

Neither frames nor iframes are desireable or ideal. If your concern is having the navigation in a single place, then server side includes are the best solution - you edit 1 file, the include, and that takes care of the entire site.

A css-based layout is a preferable solution.
