Hi,

I have this website where I have to put different listing of properties that I have listed there but I feel like the way the lists are is just too normal.

I want to know if you can help me to do it better and to have something better looking and eyecatching.

Example:

http://crlandmarket.com/casas_v.html

The website is in spanih but hopefully you would get my point.

Thanks!

How many ways are there to skin a cat?!

You should spend some time surfing and looking at sites that offer similar info to yours and see what you like, what catches your eye. When you've got an idea of what you want to achieve, you can set about doing it.

I would do a google search for free realtor website templates. Or if you web host has Fantastico you can use the script . I have heard from my clients that they like it.

Yeh you would probably just need a simple listing script either built into the page or by using an iframe.

There are plenty of "Reality listing scripts" around just google for that and you can normally find some free ones.
Some do have a price but may have more features you can use.

Its up to you or of you feel its worth outlaying paying for a script.
But usually the free ones are the most simple and sometimes less is more and looking at your site id say it would be a gd idea to keep the list simple as you already have it.

Hi,
I am quite satisfied with magicvw view you should expend some time looking for similar sites that offer similar information for your website and see what you like, when you've got an idea of what you want to achieve, you can set about doing it.

Remove the green background, my eyes hurt me from this. Try something more common.

I think you need to be more creative with your site overall, you need to look into adding more content, images. The green is also a little strong for a site with little content and images. If you want something to bench mark for your work against have a look at what other comapnies are doing in the same niche.

I was looking around at your website, and then i went and looked at some other reality sites and the other reality sites usually have soft colors like browns, beige, blue etc.

Also maybe you could have more pictures of the houses and maybe on the home page of the site you could put a couple of the houses your selling and when someone clicks on the picture it takes them to the page talking about the house.

Have a look at the top sites in the field that have had a presence for a number of years. They have spent a great deal of time and money in getting to the point where they are in terms of their look and feel of the website. take not of their colour themes and layout and try and adopt some of the features into your design.

Well, they're right - you need a ratchett, some spanners, seventeen iframes, a div, with left aligned embedded pre-recursive scripting languages built in to the mouseover, and a cat.

Is almost what I was gonna suggest, but mine is enough different to post it anyway...

go to a good property agent selling property in costa rica (clue: search on google for costa rica property) find one that looks so cool YOU wanna buy their property and throw your whole site away, and then make your site look like theirs.

Ah, the last part. That's what you think is tricky. Well no. That's the easy bit. It's all mechanical. The tricky bit is knowing what looks good. So do the thing me and magicvw said, and find a competitor who does it better than you. Then make a design a lot like theirs, and use it. How to do the last bit is quite easy -

get a copy of Dreamweaver for you computer. Then use "div" boxes (the little box in the tools which has a sort of handle on it) to locate everything precisely on your page - just draw everything - use the tools, get images from clipart etc (it's cheap, or free, depending on how and where you look) and make the site look the way you want.

Here's an example of something similar (although i didn't look at any competitors because I don't have any... ha ha ha)... i.e something that looks cool because I made it using dreamweaver after deciding how I wanted it to look, more or less.

http://www.crm-systems.eu

I did use someone else's artwork from a public uncopyrighted place and MASSIVELY alter it, but other than that and the clipart it's all my own work. Wait a minute - what IS there other than that and the clipart? Not much, a bit of javascript (which i found), mostly html or something (of which 99% was made by dreamweaver at my request), and - well, nothing else really.
