Hello,

I need to create a very small image that will say "read more" using a very small font about 8-9 in its size but I cant find one that is clear enough. It comes out blurry.

I would appreciate some help.

Thanks

Why do you need an image ?? Use real text, it's far more accessible - and easier.

Tahoma is pretty decent looking on a image, when the font is small.

What I would do is create a <div tag or table using html and use plain old text. Verdana is a good readable text font.

I don't think this is a font issue. The image you posted looks to me like it was created much bigger, then reduced in size with anti-aliasing switched on. Without the anti-aliasing it would probably be illegible - it would certainly be very ugly.

I cannot see anything blurred at the image's original size - it's only when I blow it up in gThumb that it loses definition. What size do you want it to be on the final page?

I have never used fireworks so i would not know about it, when i made a image with size 8 text i saved the image as a PNG maybe if you can save the image as a PNG it will come out better. Other than that i have no idea.
