Hi,

In the past I have used a PHP script to format a HTML form and the send it formatted to a designated email address, so when it appears in the inbox it is all seperated into seperate lines. Nice.

I am doing a site now where the hosting with the site (123-reg.co.uk) does not support PHP. I am exhausted from searching for a good HTML form that when sent to an email address does not appear in one long messed up line of text.

If you guys know of any sites/tutorials which can offer this then i'd much appreciate it.

Cheers, :-)

Cheers for the code Chris it worked great and I got a form working.

But...

The hosting package with the site I am doing does not support php or ASP!! Quite lame. Is there any other tutorials/sites that I can use that will create a HTML form which I can format into a readable email?

Can I still use the code that you linked to and use it in a straight HTML page? (no asp and with the javascript and css in the HTML)

Any help would be great.

Cheers, :-)

Hey,

It would also be preferable to not have the Explorer box that sends the email form for you that appears when you click on the submit button.

Yep (All code is HTML at the browser). The script sends the mail using the mailto: method and passes the message to the end users mail client, it uses no server side code of any kind.

That will depend on what email client is in use.
