Hi folks. On my website, www.RenosBestJobs.com, when a user clicks on the "Resources" tab, the titles show up in the main window, right center.

If the user then clicks on one of the titles, they are taken to a completely white page.I'd like the article to open where the titles were.

I used to use HTML3, so you can tell how rusty my programming is.

Thanks in advance.

I agree with the first post, it's not off site just opening the link in a new window, if you want it to open in the same window remove the target attribute.

Yes as the others have said, don't use the attribute when you are creating the link.

There are 4 attributes you can use when using a link and it help to tell where to point the new link to. As long as you leave it blank and don't use a attribute then it will leave it in the same window.

Well, why did you use target="blank" to start with?

Thanks for the replies.
I removed "Target=Blank" and we go (again) to what looks like just a blank page. It is within my site but I would like to have the header, ads and search from the left side still there.

I used the target to at least open a new tab.

So, in other words, I still can't get it to do what I want.

Thanks again for the help. Not giving up.

options:-

redesign the pages those link point to to have the navigation included.

rename those pages. Then use a custom 404 page or a mod_alias rewrite to open them as an include to a correctly formatted page

The more and more I read what you are wanting it sort of sounds like what you should do is maybe make a blank template page with the header and adds that you want and then use IFrames.

Iframes are basically a site within a window and it seems that this is what you are looking for you. You can create a base template with the header and ads you want and create an Iframe inside it for each link and this could be what you are looking for.
