I am designing a page where i wanted to create a layout consisting of three things:
  • the header
  • the content place
  • and a footer

Unfortunately, in both Firefox and IE, footer gets misplaced and is displayed arond the class "content" div. The stylesheet file is located here.
I hope someone could help me
Thanks in advance!

Hello,

If I understand your question right, which I'm not sure I do, the footer appears to be at the bottom for me. Of course some time has past since your post.

I would add to the footer css id "clear: both; float: none; display: block;" and see if that gets it right for you.

Cheers,

U must have a Container DIV 4 your menu and content section and then
I think inserting an empty div with class name .clearer and CSS like this :
.clearer { clear: both; }
at the end of content div might fix the problem
