How can I tell an iFrame element which image to show first at loading the site?

I have about twenty thumbnails, that, when clicked, make the bigger version of the image display in the iFrame element.

Weird, no matter how I change the position of the thumbnails in my HTML document, it's always that one image that I put first in that gets loaded.

I put it in number two, but still this one image gets loaded first when the site is loaded.

I'd like another image to show first within the frame.

How do I design which image gets loaded first?

Thanks.

Can't at the moment.

I haven't started with Javascript yet.

(I'd also love to use it to adjust the iFrame to the size of the picture on display. At the moment it leaves some space for the slimmer pictures).

There's a way to do it in HTML, without Javascript.

Code:
<div id="frame">
<iframe id="theframe" name="theframe"
src="http://www.webmaster-talk.com/images/kk12.jpg"
width="515" height="698" scrolling="no"
frameborder="1" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0"/>
</div>
If you put in one image into the iframe element: the image you put in here is the one that loads first at import.

PS: the reason why I put and ID and a name into the iframe element is, that in Firefox the iframe wouldn't work without the (deprecated) name property.
