hellow everyone!

i validated my site emorocks.com, and i found out that there are some errors regarding my textarea tag...it says that <a> and <br> tag are not allowed inside the textarea tag...but these are really needed in my code so that the user will just copy it and paste it to their friendster profile...and the image will display in their profile...any help please?

is their any solutions to fix this one to be validated in xhtml?

PHP Code:

echo "<textarea onclick='this.select();' rows='2' cols='10' style='overflow:hidden; width:448px; height:30px;' ><a href='http://www.emorocks.com/".$cat."/' ><img src='http://www.emorocks.com/comments/".$cat."/".$comment."' alt='Emorocks - the coolest place for free EMO comments' border='0' /></a><br />EmoRocks.com</textarea>"

remove the "Valid XHTML" image and nobody will know or care. It will make no difference at all to how the page renders in a browser.

Other than that. No not really, you could use an iframe to show the textarea or you could write it in with javascript. Both of which will/can create accessibility and usability issues.
