Hi all,

I have problem with flash on that website. I'm using Swish2. Files have been exported as flash7. The problem is during browsing in IE6 and IE7 (in Firefox and Chrome is fine). The animations are simply jumping.

Waiting your suggestions,

Why are you using Swish2 instead of the Adobe Flash Player?

The FIRST thing you need is a PROPER DOCTYPE on all your pages.
The second thing you need to do is read the stickies on how to properly put Flash into your pages, and that means NOT using <embed>

Do you have a code we can look at?

It sounds like the way you have embeded the file incorrectly into the html document, and the browser is not reading the file type correctly.

Doctype is not the problem. I have no doctype on other site with the same swish generated flash and there is no any problem with flash..

Flash was exported to html files and copied to exist html page. I have done before with no problem.

I understand this.

But, FF and IE have a complete different way of viewing embedded file, and each browser is specific about which type of embedding you use and they both have their own requirements about which specifications are required for each type of embedded file, that is why i asked for the code so i can take a look at it and see why IE is throwing it off.

Here's a brilliant thread on the subject of putting flash content into webpages:

Sorry, I was unable to look into it. I am glad you got it working, but we have been extremely busy here lately.

Oh, but it most certainly IS a problem. If you fail to use a proper DOCTYPE, the browsers have to GUESS how to render your pages and IE will render in QUIRKS MODE, which is not something you want it to do. You should ALWAYS use a DOCTYPE if you want any kind of cross-browser compatibility.

I've corrected the smilies in your post. I PM'd you so that you know how in the future.

Also, you have your EMBED tag open, but not close.
