I need to fit 8 boxes within a container. The containers width is 940px. SO I went to calculator and divided 940 by 8. I came up with 117px. So I made the width of every box 117px. It shows up correctly in IE, but in firefox It is too large. Does FF and IE have different pixel sizes? How would I fix this?

Thanks.

No, they do not.

Did you also add margins and padding and/or borders to those boxes ??? If you did, you're going to have to remove them.

Not sure if this fits the topic or not, but I had display differences/issues between Firefox and IE at one time. Turned out it was my view settings that were causing the discrepancy.

No, they both have the same pixel setting. Now they display certain codes and margins differently. Sometimes you will have to use a IE hack, that will allow you to fix this issue.
