Hi there, I'm having a little trouble finding a solution to my little FF textarea problem.

It looks fine in Chrome and IE, so really just need to sort out the issues with FF.

If you view it (http://www.wetheweb.org/contact.html) in FF, you'll notice the size of the textarea is not correct. How can I fix this issue?

I would start by validating the site and fixing the errors. You have div's nested inside links, deprecated items and so on.

Firefox is a strict teacher. Let us know what happens after these corrections.

Well, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the character width being different in the browsers.

I will fix the validation issues of course though, for the sake of being validated. =)

Instead of trying to get the columns to match through the html, specify a width in your css. You'll have more control that way and be better able to get the textarea the same size or at least closer.

I tried specifying the width, but that just messed up the code for some reason.

I messed with col and row sizes to get a 'quick fix' but it would be nice to fix it for good eventually.

You'll have to use css. Different browsers have different default widths for columns and rows so you won't be able to get them exactly the same. CSS shouldn't have messed up your code at all. You might have typed it wrong or maybe it's something else in the code.

Define width and height in your CSS for #design_inquiry and you'll get some results.
