Hi there, I have been designing a website for my work. At the moment, i am just trying to get the layout skeleton right before i go putting any content into it. It looks exactly how i want it to in FF, but in IE, it is all weird.

-in FF it fills just one browser window without any side scrolling, but in ie it is like twice the width,

- in FF, the picsnhours table down the left side sits below the menu bar like i want it to, but in IE it goes up to the top of the page and site under (stacked) the menubar

here is a rapidshare link to a zip of all the files associated with the site in progess, with identifying details removed. the forum says that the file size is over quota when its only 60kb

http://rapidshare.com/files/22429196...bsite.zip.html

thanks in advance for all the help

P.S. I know that the colours look stupid, they are only in there so they stand out and I can see where the table boundries are and stuff.

Hmm the original link worked well, the next one was a real mess that didnt work at all...

If you are having questions about the one with rambo on it I would suggest getting a nice css sheet to set the frame width to something that most people can use... to me it looks like its set to a wide screen monitor and me on my standard 4x3 cant see it.

Obviously that "rambo" site needs a lot of work, it looks like its just in its beginning days, and IMO not ready to be reviewed.

This might be a better item for the HTML forum or something.

The FIRST thing you need to do is put a proper DOCTYPE on your page, without it IE renders in QUIRKS MODE - something you do NOT want.

Second, get rid of the tables, you don't need them.
