Any value to a forum with .php pages inserted in an Iframe?

Does anyone have any experience with customizing .php pages generated by a program to create a forum (PHP FX Easy Forum) ? Adding HTML headings and side content, flash and graphics seems to mess up the pages and they don't work or sho up in strange ways.

The only solution I have found is placing the starter page of the forum into an Iframe and letting the program run in that Iframe. It works well - but is this a good thing to do.....?

I know that Google won't find this content - which is a huge disadvantage, but would the content of a .php page and all database content on that page be found by Google anyway - and if so - am I worrying about nothing.

Any help on this would be really appreciated!

Thanks!
