I created a drop down list that includes a blank which is the  . I want to change that. Is there a way for me to hide the first option?

Thanks,

If u wrapped the dropdown elements in divs there's no other way around it as far as I can tell. Had the same issue but in a different context.

Need to see the code or a URL.

Being inside a div would have nothing to do with it!

Are you using a content management system? If you aren't then just make your first list item as text - no <a href> tag... <li>Menu Label</li>

If you are using php using the condition checking you can hide that option in the drop down.

I am not able to understand why you create blank.
And post your source code here.
