page looks good in safari, firefox but browsershots.org shows IE images not in line.

Gotta see the code or a URL please. Impossible to tell what's going on from an image.

if thats your first attempt then its a great design

You should not build your sites using tables however. CSS is the way to go

Your site looks really great

I have only firefox to test. In firefox it has no issues. But if you are having issues in IE I think it can be either css or table issue.

I would suggest using align=left/right/center as needed to the td tag. IE does have some issues because of that.

Thanks for the encouragement, I worked very hard on that site.
I think I've found the problem, I have an extra table in the nav bar but when i try to delete it all other tables go out of line

davidj is there a way to convert my tables to css tables?

I just cant fix it, the screenshot above is internet explorer 6,7 and 8

I think I may go insane trying to fix it!! nothing i do helps, just makes it worse.

It looks the same here in FF, IE7 and IE6.

Except for your contact page. Looks like your content is pushing it out.

yes, I fixed my issue by adding

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"><html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en">

and

img{display:block

Not sure why the contact page is messed up now.
