it looks ok in firefox but not in IE7
the problem seems to be here:

if i leave out the last class="plan_header" and make some changes in the cellspacing, cellpadding part the layout is ok, but otherwise it makes the cell in the table above where i put the image longer than 200px (only in IE)
why is that

That is one huge case of div-itis you've got there. And your code doesn't conform to XHTML Strict - the <font> tag is NOT allowed in Strict - that's what CSS is for.

i was thinking it was more a case of table-itis
i fixed it by closing the table where the layout was messed up and open a new table for the next row
some things like the font -tag i still need to change
