Hi all, this is my first post (well I replied to others but it's my first thread)

I've been blogging so long I do not remember how to code html other than a P tag and an href

Inside a blogger blog (hosted on blogspot.com) I'd like to add the RSS widget icons that blog search engines want us to us to link back to them.

I can do that... but if I list a blog at, say, 20 blog directories the blogger widget gets huge if I only use the paragraph tag.

how do I hand code (tables perhaps?) to align icons side by side as opposed to on top of each other (like I'm currently doing with the paragraph tag)

You don't want, and don't need, tables for that. If you just want the icons to line up, you can use an unordered list, set the <li> with the linked icon in it to float:left using css, making sure you define a width. That will make them line up. Adjust margins and padding as needed.
