Hi, I have a pretty good grasp on what I need to do in terms of websites but doing it is at times another animal... I have made all stuff at my latest venture validate etc... so I figured I would get over to my firms page. I am assuming after a year and some meta and server changes I have wound up with some problems I didnt notice....

can someone please tell me what I need to fix here... www.ultimatechcc.com

1. looks funny in firefox
2. I have multiple document declarations lol...(should I make transitional)
3. I dont think my errors are that bad.. fixing something should fix alot of stuff I think...

I am going to update the look and add a number of things in a few days but it is important I fix these quandrys as that is how I separate myself from my competition... All of which use front page or dreamweaver, dont know they should validate their pages, and a number of other disasterous web related habits.....

thanks much for your time

1. you have 2 <head>

2. you forgot to put a space after your alt="..." tags in all your <img..> tags

you have
HTML Code:
<img src="images/why.jpg" alt="computer consultants based in aspen colorado"/>
it should be
HTML Code:
<img src="images/why.jpg" alt="computer consultants based in aspen colorado" />
3. it's </a> not <a/>
HTML Code:
<li id="mnv4"><h3><a href="http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/windowwasher/washerb.php?rc=780">WindowWasher<a/></h3></li>
<p>Wash away online tracks to protect your privacy and boost system performance</p>
<li id="mnv5"><h3><a href="http://www.clixGalore.com/Sale.aspx?BID=8662&AfID=66377&AdID=1531">ArticSoft<a/></h3></li>

The main problem that I saw was that you cannot have most tags outside of a div or a span tag ie) <p> <li> <a>.

You cannot have a <p> tag within the <ul></ul> tags. Try using a <dl></dl> instead (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_dl.asp)
