I need to get an easy HTML script to enter with an advertisers link on my site to track home many times that link gets clicked by my visitors and I send people to the advertisers site.

You can use Google Analytics, which you should be using anyway, for this. Here is an example from Google.

There are far better remedies to this than Google Analytics which does little more than slow down the load time of your page.

U can use Javascript counter for that

plenty of counters are for javascript available online
