Hi.. I know this is not a Dreamweaver forum but I am hoping someone will have some insight on this anyways... I had created a fairly simple set of tables, with some nested tables inside some rows/columns of others... I cant remember the last time I had such a problem, but for some reason, on the center column where I am to put in all the content, whenever I put in too may lines/paragraphs, or write too much text, or paste an image in there, the table format jumps and all goes misaligned... no refresh or anything can get it back, and the HTML doesnt seem to be telling me anything... (I will post the HTML if u need it)...

This is also in plain HTML, no CSS involved at all. I have seen this happen before in some other templates, although this one I created myself from scratch to ensure it was clean... so much for that! If you have any idea what it can be, please let me know, thanks!

That's how tables work, they will expand to accomodate the content within the cells.

Did you put height and width specifications on the tables and the individual cells.

If you don't the tables will do what is necessary to accomodate the contents.
Especially pictures that are bigger than the preallocated space.

For example a picture that is 500px wide in a 300px table.

As far as something not showing up at all, that usually indicates a td or tr or the table itself that was not closed. Netscape, FF and Opera do not care about closing tags but Internet Exploder does.

If you are nesting, you HAVE to make sure your spacing and your tag closes are in place.
