Can anyone tell me how they accomplish the scrolling feature on this website? I'm looking at the text that says "We are a UL approved manufacturer of electric signs".

I have looked at the code and for the life of me cannot figure out what they are doing to accomplish this. Might it be a script? I have seen alot of scripts that provide a general scroll feature but none that actually display it in the same fashion as this (Each letter at a time starting on the left and then spelling it to the right).

It's being run by some of the JavaScript at the top of the document. Seems a bit heavy for something so simple, so it's not how I would have handled it.

There's no mechanism to do something like this via HTML or CSS.

Thanks. I don't know much about Java but I thought it looked like a huge amount of code for such a simple thing. I will just build it in Flash.

you used to be able to do it with the html
