Three months ago we changed the page names to be more descriptive from www.lady2b.com/group/5.html to http://www.lady2b.com/group/5/Alice-Bands.html. We made sure we used a "301 Moved Permanently" redirect from the old style to the new style links.

However, search engines are not picking up the new descriptions, they are still picking up the old ones.

Any ideas please?

That's because it is returning a 302 not a 301 response.

but it was set up at a 301 redirect. how has it changed to a 302?
