I have a little question

Hi all,

I have a little question which I reckon is easy to answer...

Let say I have a lot of text that might be difficult to navigate through, and I want to cut it up. Let say I have three links on top of the text....one says beginning, the next main and the last ending. When someone clicks on one of them they will be transferred to the exact point where I have decided which is which. So if someone chooses main, they will be transferred to that point.

What does this called? Can anyone give me a hint? I have been thinking of footnote, but I dont think that is the right name.

Thanks in advance

-Tommy

Use id attributes rather than creating new elements (e.g., anchors).
