Hey all,

I am wondering how I can stream .FLV.

I have no problem streaming AVI but this only works well in IE. I have tried a few different coding examples that I have found around the web but none of them seem to work.

Do I need to convert the FLV to SWF in order to play it and will this effect the quality/compression much?

If I were you I would just convert the .flv into a .avi. This way you know the .avi will work regards. Best of luck!

Right but .avi only seems to work on IE. It isnt working on FF or safari. I havent tested other browsers like Opera or Chrome but I assume its the same.

What file formats do you guys normally use for cross browser/platform support?
