I have been having lots of trouble with people taking content from my site, even though it's copyrighted, and posting it on their own sites. I am wondering how to create my web pages as images so that no one can copy my text. I have seen this sort of thing on other sites, and when I go to "view source" for such a page, I see a gif image and no text whatsoever, even though the page itself is full of text. Does anyone know how to do this? Do I need any special software?

Oh. You can put your articles on Photoshop or GIMP and make it as a JPG image.
But putting your articles on an image will make your site load slower.

Do you care about being found in the search engines ?? Because if you do, then turning all your text into an image will make your site absolutely INVISIBLE to search engines - they cannot read images. IN additon, it would also make your site TOTALLY INACCESSIBLE to anyone using assistive technology.

Very bad idea. If someone is ripping you off - write them and demand that they take down what they stole. If they refuse, get a lawyer - with most thieves such as this, just a letter from a lawyer and the smell of a possible lawsuit will make them stop.
