Hey guys, i've been having some problems recently, with a layout i've designed/coded:

The layout is looking as I want it, in Firefox but when you look at it, in Internet Explorer 7 and below, it messes up. although it is fine in 8. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions how to fix this.

That's a cool looking site. One of the things I noticed is it looks like your using .png file types for some of the images. The older browsers won't display the transparency of these without some extra code. Google the .png fix for internet explorer 6.

As far as the shifting of certain things, the best thing is to make sure you are very specific with your code. It's hard to tell what's actually wrong without seeing the code for everything but being very specific is usually the trick for keeping things cross browser compatible.

Either way, not very many people use those old browsers anymore any way, but some still do. Soon enough we won't have to worry about those old things.

What I know, firefox and ie or safari treats your css differently. you can manipulate it using css if you are refering to fonts or the layout itself.
