Hi,

So, on my wordpress site, I would like to add a shadow background image, which I've done and works wonderfully in mozilla and chrome.

http://www.betasab.host56.com

IE however does not support this behavior where it aligns the site to the left for some reason and it's driving me crazy. For some reason, my "wrapper" I've added is above the doctype in my source code.

I am not sure what the issue is, all I've done, is added a div and id called "wrapper", margins - auto for left and right in my index.php file.

Does any kind soul here have any ideas what could be the issue or how I might be able to resolve it??

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Chris,

Thanks again for the reply and moving my thread, but I've figured it out!

I placed the "wrapper" div outside the header div, and again in the content section. I think just didn't close the div so that it encompasses the entire height of the page.

Yep. The "wrapper" was being opened before the DTD and anything that is rendered before the DTD will "break" IE (not that it needs any help of course)
