Our company recently did a complete overhaul of our url's to be keyword friendly. We are a wholesaler and have over 400 product pages. We did this to improve search ranking on our products. However, Google is currently giving a redirect script in place of the product description. Will this go away soon? It makes it look like an invalid link which may do us more harm than good.

Here is an example:

Raffia Ribbon - Eco Friendly Retail Packaging, Food Packaging ...
Http/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Location: http://www.nashvillewraps.com/raffia/mc-038.html RequestId: 7280_36AA39877EC8 Moved.

That is what URL rewriting does.

AND BTW it's of really no value. By changing you have probably done FAR MORE damage which will take 3 to 4 months to rectify.

Nashten:

Where did you activate your 301 redirects.
In htaccess or on individual page redirects?

The first load attempt brought that error, the second brought up the page.

Check your syntax for typos.
