Hi,

How can I create a page that basically is two cells side by side. In the left cell I want to be able to add "upcoming events" and in the right cell I would like to have a slideshow continuously scrolling through pictures. The kicker is I would like to have both cells be a certain size and the right hand cell which has the pictures basically zoom the picture to fit the cell size.

Thanks

Does it have to be a table? Can you use divs?

Honestly, form what I understand "Tables" are a pain so if it will work with "divs" that would be cool. Thanks for looking at it

use <tr><td width="your_size1"></td><td width="your_size2"></td></tr>
or: <tr><td width="your_size1%"></td><td width="your_size2%"></td></tr>

There is absolutely no reason to use tables for something like that. Using CSS and divs is the preferred and MODERN way accomplish it.

Okay thanks for the comments. The problem is that I am by no means at your level of webdesign skills. Could you direct we to a webpage that instruct me on how to accomplish the task that I had originally posted the question on.

Thanks again all
