Dear Friends,

I am designing a webpage. It is for Intranet. One folder "Drawings" contains more than 1,000 drawing files. I can't link all the drawings files on webpage. So, I would like to do is, I will keep that FOLDER on Webfolder and just put a single link, say, "Drawings". One who clicks that link will open that folder and view the drawing file which he needs.

How to do this?

Thanks.

either use server side code to read the folder and write links to the page or allow directory browsing and remove the index page

There are quite a lot of ways to solve your problem If it is a simple and safe solution that does not really need to be aesthetically pleasing then the server side option would probably be your best bet. Then it would be good to know what your intranet is running on. Apache or some other alternative?

If you are not sure then its probably best to check that there is not index.html page in the folder anywhere as Chris suggested then try to browse to the folder address with your browser to the intranet/images/ folder or what it may be.
