Invisible/Turn Off Active Link Highlighting?

My links are (words) saved as transparent png's so that they can float over the background as just words without boxes. However, when clicking a link the outside edge of the rectangular image area is highlighted. I can change the color of the highlighting in Page Properties>Links>Active Links, but I don't see any way to turn it off or make it transparent. Is it possible?? (The background isn't solid, so I can't just make the highlighting the same color.)

Thanks.

Not sure if I get the right info...

Your image link was generated to swap/change image when hover:
Quote:
<a onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image18','','images/contact_rollover.png',1)" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" href="contact.html"><img width="193" height="52" border="0" name="Image18" src="http://www.webmaster-talk.com/images/contact.png"></a>
Try to delete all the mouseover like this:
Quote:
<a href="contact.html"><img width="193" height="52" border="0" name="Image18" src="http://www.webmaster-talk.com/images/contact.png"></a>
