Hello! I'm new to making websites and coding, and I'm not sure if this is correct place to post this question, but I was wondering if anyone can help me?

I'm trying to build a website to let people search for specific info by choosing from a list of checkbox options. Here is an example website:

I followed a link from that site to the site of the CGI script they used. (I have to admit though, the script's instructions are in Japanese, and I'm pretty average at reading it, not the best, so that may be half the reason why I can't get this to work..) Anyway, after installing the script, I think my permissions are set correctly because I can access "public_html/cgi-bin/cc_admin.cgi" but I can't view my website from "public_html/cgi-bin/index.html" I just get a 500 Internal Server error.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks for reading~

because your page wouldn't normally be in the cgi-bin folder, only the scripts should be there with your html pages in the site root of subfolders.

Ah~ I thought maybe there might be a way to use the index.html file in the cgi-bin, but I guess not. Thank you! :3
