Hello Friends


I have trouble in viewing my icon in address bar.
I have saved an icon in my root directory and also images folder and added the following code into the header tag
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon"/>
Please help me with this.

There are 2 problems. Either your code is wrong or you have to do a hard refresh (ctrl+F5).

I use:

<link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://www.avatud24.ee/favicon.ico">

with full url

I've seen this problem intermittently. Strangely enough I've seen it more in FF than IE. Try clearing the cache, restart browser, then try again. If still now showing then it could be the path's not correct, or permission problems.

i got the same problem before, just put the complete url of the icon. ang press ctrl f5

Wicked I didn't know about F5!
