What are best PSD to HTML conversion tool ?

I tested only a few of them..and sitegrinder seems to be the best..
But I personally prefer to code all my PSDs manually, myself. This way I am sure everything is perfect

I don't believe there will ever be a tool that will do it right. Each website has different design qualities, that a program simply wouldn't recognize in our age. Adjustable screen resolution, matching of font & color, etc..

I suggest slicing that PSD up and getting Dreamweaver since you are already familiar with Adobe.
Try download the Dreamweaver trial, this program is the tool you are looking for

Any professional web designer will tell you that would they not trust a tool to code the entire template from a PSD.

Basically, designing the look of the page is an art, but so is coding it.
If you could learn Photoshop, you could learn basic HTML and CSS.

All you need to have is a coder. A coder is a person who is expert in making PSD into HTML codes.
You can't easily convert it using a software, as far as I know.

Only an experienced web designer is capable of doing that.

Like mantasx says, there is no such tool that can do that work automatically. One should think about it more so they can get real and good results.

If there comes a time that that tool is available, wonder if it can be better than hand coded...

For me, it will be much better to do it manually than to rely on such tools like that.

I have to agree with what everyone else is saying. There is no substitute for an experienced designer who specializes in PSD conversions. Sitegrinder3 is the latest and greatest attempt at automation if you do want to go that route. It is only worth it if you plan on converting numerous files on an ongoing basis. If your just looking to have it done on one, then there are plenty of PSD to XHTML services around these days or you can use a freelancer.

I know Adobe Fireworks (you could import the PSD) has limited HTML/CSS conversion options...but like the others have said...get a designer/coder...it's the only surefire way!

We are using Fireworks which is awesome tool to do all the stuff in regards to PSD > HTML. Macromedia Fireworks works well with Dreamweaver. You can open a PSD in Fireworks, slice it and then export to Dreamweaver.

that's a fine way for mockups and wireframing but NOT for full production work.

While you are learning, (new versions of) Photoshop can export HTML if you slice the images up.

However, just like the others, there is no absolute subsitute for hand coded templates. There are far too many variables for a program to do a well designed template justice.

I totaly agree, most cases with psd2html converters ends with question "how i can fix it?" as none of programs can learn to think with layers priority as human can do it by just looking at psd . Anyway, I vote for manually slicing.
