Hi all - pretty basic but for some reason my contact form has stopped working and I'm getting this error:

?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
Application Error
An error has occurred in the program

Anyone seen this before? I've got a basic html page pointing to a FormMail.pl in my CGI-bin. Here's the page if it helps:

www.pub-one.com/contact.html

Thank you!

Okay my log states:

[Fri Apr 16 12:14:34 2010] [error] [client 82.45.10.212] Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at FormMail.pl line 126., referer: http://www.pub-one.com/contact.html
[Fri Apr 16 12:14:34 2010] [error] [client 82.45.10.212] Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at FormMail.pl line 128

And lines at 126/128 are:

my ($id ) = $file =~ m%([^/]+)$%;

return undef if $file =~ /^\(eval/;

Where is the pattern match?

Thanks again.

And also:

[error] [client 128.138.64.41] Invalid range "\xff\x80\x8f\xbf\xbf\xbf\xbf\xbf\xbf\xbf\xbf\xbe\ x80-3" in transliteration operator at FormMail.pl line 573

Line 573 reads: $realname =~ tr# a-zA-Z0-9_\-,./'\200-377##dc;

Thanks.

My perl sucks more than a dyson cyclone,

Humm.

Can you verify that you have populated your variables before you do something with them?

$id & $file.

Maybe they are null when it reaches that bit of code?

It doesn't work locally, I have populated my variables, but I have not updated any perl packages.
